Meet Dr. Joy
Hi, I’m Dr. Kaitlin Joy Ploeger—though around here, Dr. Joy feels more fitting.
I’m a pediatric occupational therapist, educator, researcher, mother, and developmental activist. I am endlessly curious about how tiny humans grow, how the environments around them shape that growth, and why so much of modern parenting makes families feel anxious, inadequate, or disconnected from their own instincts.
I created Tiny Human Lab as a place to think about those questions out loud.
